Pop star Madonna also wears Luigi Veccia scarves to help Save The Children
There is also Madonna to support the “A Print For our Future” project for Save The Children . The American pop star is a testimonial for a good purpose of the scarves signed by su Luigi Veccia. Creative director of Daks, professor at Istituto Marangoni, Vecchia created the charity capsule to support the fight against child educational poverty in Italy.
The Italian silk scarf capsules are made in Como and digitally printed to minimize the environmental impact.
The geometric prints reproduce the architecture of the most disadvantaged suburban districts of Naples and Palermo, but also the rationalist architectures. For example, Madonna supports the project by wearing the APFOF scarf depicting the profile of Scampia’s sails. The project is now available in crowdfunding on the Italian platform Eppela.com. The part of the proceeds donated to Save The Children Italy will help children and young people in difficulty in this period of Covid-19.
